Who is the Puppet Master?
I am someone who doesn’t like to stick to one thing for a very long time , well unless it’s gaming , but i digress.
I am someone who want to do something out of the ordinary , something that isn’t really discussed , or is really tackled , by most people , i hate routines and i hate clichés …
I am in my second semester of my second university year , and i’d like to continue to masters , however , i don’t know what to do now for sure.
But an idea hit my head and from the many options , there was the idea of going and making an MA , in communication and information , i looked some of the syllabus , and everything i saw , i liked.
But i am not writing my diary here , or talking about if i will go for this choice or not.
but a smell of ambition came near my nose and well , i wanted to write a little article , a dumb article.
with the opinion of someone , who doesn’t know much about how manipulation of the masses happen in subtle ways , ways that don’t seem dystopic at first sight , but the more you dig into it , i suppose we’d find many things
, and soooo
Why the hell did i tell you the whole « Ma In communication maybe story ? »
well , it’s because , i suppose if i go for it , my thesis would be about how masses are shaped with the voice of few.
How to order , lead , silence , the floc.
What are the tools that are used to manipulate a populations , how it develops , what still works , how is propaganda everywhere , and how is the truth butchered and lies build some of our thoughts , and above all , how does this affect us ?
how does it affect conflicts ? why are they used ? and what are the levels ?
In short , how do you shape the masses , from the time of the spears , to the time of the canons , and finally with the wars with no blood .
Is , brainwashing , propaganda , ever good and should be considered ? how affective it is in armed conflicts ? how can we use truth to destroy and lies to build , how do we crush opposition , how to give the perfume of liberty while tyranny is really the ideology at rule ?
how democracy falls into a dark void of freedoms , including the freedom to manipulations and farces.
I find these questions fascinating , and i think the answers would be terrifying , because i think , if i finish my thesis , i think i will understand how even if i know all this , i am still a brainwashed person with no personal opinion because everyone brainwashed everyone , everyone is a puppet , everyone has strings.
but then , the real question is , if we are all puppets , who is , or what is , the puppet master ?
Promises , corruption , liberty , revolutions built on so much information , but how often did truth triumph ?
And , sure , we always hear that the leaders are the one doing the manipulating , but was the leader never seduced by his people and got manipulated himself ?

YEAH
I just feel even more ambition now, and i feel i can talk about so many things , it’s ridiculous , this is all , wow , soft power , indirect influence , families , friends , enemies , experiences , shows , movies , games , nature , geography , sex , politics , history, religions, influence us , and can become tools for the puppet master .
and to kill this master , we need to understand how they work , how they play the game , their failures and success , their history , their way of thinking.
Once we do , we’ll call the guillotine. But then , What happens when we kill the master ?
if i ever write this thesis down , i hope my future self will read this article again , and perhaps even add it to the thesis.
