Dark Blue Hair's Farce

There was a chess board in the middle of an empty room. It looked soo lonely on this wooden table.

Heels got near it and saw the chess pieces looking, Alive? 

She got a closer look, she saw people she heard of and saw from afar many times in the underground.

she saw them on the chess table, they were the pawns queens, bishops and more .

 They were the leadership of many factions tainted in black or white. They were standing idling, sharpening their swords, smelling flowers, fishing, or just looking at the enemy, they were doing whatever, as long as they were still in the tile they were in. 

Sails was looking at a paper, he was reading it seems. Ruby wore a hood and was throwing her knives in the air. Anchor was punching the wind.

Heels was so amazed about what she was seeing but then as she started to walk back she bumped into someone, she yelled out of fear.

It was Diamondheart, when Heels turned back she looked at the smirk Dh gave her.

"You're here? Again?" she said as she walked through the room
"I wanted to speak to you" answers Heels
"I can tell from the perfume"
"The perfume?"
"You've been talking with Sails I presume"
Heels looks away
"Yes but his perfume is on me because-"
"No need to explain to me you surely don't have to, I know you guys didn't play around when you were in the middle of the desert In front of the many guards"
Heels stays silent
"Or did you?"
"No we didn't"
"Good thing you would have made many women jealous"
"including you?"
"No I just care for him"
"Aren't you he's enemy?"
"that's what he calls be, but i do not consider him as such"
As she says that she let's herself go and let's gravity takes over her, she falls on a throne at the end of the room, her legs are saved by pillows also magically coming out of the ground.

"you cannot deny that it's cool" she says chuckling
Then she tilts her head on the side

"why did you come back?" she continues 

"I just came here to thank you Dh, we won't be seeing one another for a very long time. So I wanted to say, thank you for teaching me how to find my own solutions and to be brave."

Diamondheart stays silent, she coughs a little, and gets up. She doesn't say a word, and just hugs her, Heels feels safe and comfortable. Like a daughter being embraced by a mother. 

Diamondheart gives her a necklace, and tells her this necklace will call her each time she desperately needs her. Heels explains that she is going to map out the dangerous world of the thin desert, a place still full of bizarre things that lie there.

Diamondheart told Heels if that's the case she wanted to play with her chess, she needed her, she wanted her to have fun with her friend one last time.

Heels took the white side, and started. When she moved the characters, they felt so alive. They were killing one another, but each time It'd happen, they would yell and mourn, but then Dh would yell and they'd stay silent. Sails killed many with his hands, and wept each time. 

 Ruby was punched to death by Sails as well, only to have Anchor saving him and dying from an arrow shot By Emerald. 

They had lots of fun in this chess game, it was unique, it was real and alive.

Once finished Diamondheart won, having still a couple of pieces.

 As for heels she was checkmated. 

The moment that she was, guards came into the room attacking Heels, she tried to flee and fight back, she even told Diamondheart to let them stop but she only watched. 

She did not manage to fight them all, and they got ahold of her. Diamondheart gets up.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!" Heels yells
"People play chess everyday, but they never ask about what happens when the king gets checkmated, nor care of the lives lost for their victory or failure"
"what is this?"
"You just killed many leaders, this was a real game"
"what?"
"Do not betray me a second time"
"Betray?! What are you talking about?!"
"You knew very well that I did want the hole to be opened but now that your father is dead, nothing will really happen"
"Diamondheart why all this hate? Why?"

She shushes her. And leaves the room while telling the Guards to kill her. They do it without hesitation.
Many leaders are dead. Including Sails, how can this happen? How can this madness occur?
This is impossible, this doesn't make any sense.
How can she just kill more then half of them with a chess game. All of the underground is tainted in Blood , Sails is covered in madness, Emerald blinded herself.

How did this all happen?
