Creating Monsters

Lies with art is not something that started in WW2 , or for army recruitments , it is actually something very old , something that started in the very early days of civilization , something that we ignore , that we jump over very easily in the history classroom. it is medieval monsters, myths and legends , that shaped the society back then. 

How women were portrayed for instance , as sirens , monsters who charm you into the water , and then , hurt you , or worse. 

or how monsters could depict other civilizations , like the Jews and the Muslims in Europe. 

The best way to make your people hate the enemy so they feed your politics , is to dehumanize the opponent , take the humanity off them. 

For instance

the Israelis talk about terrorists , not Palestinians .

the Palestinians talk about Zionists , not Israelis. 

Donald trump said "rapists" when he was referring to the Mexicans .

and thus , by this way , by transforming your enemy into this devilish being , you bring something that all humans adore. it's being heroic and righteous , and thus , when we have that , that will be perfect to feed the conflict. at the end of the day , its a war of humans against monsters  , and monster do not deserve any mercy.

I am not saying people like to hate , but people sure like justifications to failures . and what better then a scapegoat? 

Did anyone who defended slavery in Britain ever meet with one of the slaves? 

It's Men in suits that plan and decide those conflicts , they feed us a spoon of justifications , that are simple , and the solution is even simpler , BUILD A WALL , he said. 

in the 21st century , he said that. and it worked. and we still asks ourselves how did so many Germans follow Hitler? 

Planners , look at the people and see what they lack :

 you don't have electricity? it's the fault of the people who are different then us. there is no other explanation . who would hurt us? the brothers that are like us? No. it must be the stranger , the anonymous , the hidden , the unknown , they are your enemies  , and i will make you believe it , with my stereotypes , with my false depictions , with my movies , with the jobs i gave you , all i want from you is to believe and keep me in power , because remember  the day you trust and find actual solutions , i will no longer be here to protect you.

this , is what they do , they find justifications , and build them , one poem at the time.
